SNAPManufacturing, Inc.

About us

Built in Dubuque. Shipped everywhere.

We're the manufacturing shop that put its whole front office into software — so you get a real price in seconds and real parts in days.

Getting a part made shouldn't take three days of email

That's the frustration Snap Manufacturing was built to end. The traditional quoting dance — send a file, wait, answer questions, wait, get a PDF, wait — adds days to every project and a markup to every part. We replaced it with software that does in seconds what the front office used to do in days.

Upload your 3D model or drawing and our platform measures it instantly, prices it live as you pick materials and finishes, then runs it through a real slicer against the actual machine that will produce it. The number on your screen is the number on your receipt.

Behind that software is a real shop floor on the Mississippi in Dubuque, Iowa — FDM and resin printers, CO₂ and fiber lasers, and shelves of stocked material. Your part never gets brokered out to a stranger's machine. We make it here, finish it here, and ship it anywhere in the US and Canada.

The same shop floor powers our drone practice: we design, build, and service aircraft from quadcopters to VTOL, with airframe parts made in-house and every build performance-modeled with our technical partner RotorLab. And because we're makers ourselves, we keep a shop of parts we produce and gear we actually use.

What we run the shop by

Honest pricing, always

The quote isn't a guess with padding on top. A real slicer runs your file on the machine that will make it, and that verified number is what you pay. If software can be honest, it should be.

Speed without shortcuts

Instant quotes don't mean rushed parts. It means the waiting moved to where it belongs — out of your inbox — while the craftsmanship stays on the shop floor.

Your design is yours

Files are stored securely, used only to quote and produce your parts, and never shared. The exact file you approve is frozen with your order, so production matches what you saw.

No order too small

One bracket is a real order. So is a thousand. The same pipeline handles both, with quantity discounts computed continuously — no arbitrary tiers, no minimums.

The machines doing the work

Every quote is priced against one of these — by name, not by average.
