Vesta - Rheasilvia
The vast impact basin covering most of Vesta's southern hemisphere.
The actual model file, as it will be printed. Drag to turn it.
Rheasilvia is around 500 kilometres across on an asteroid only 525 wide — the impact that made it removed roughly one per cent of Vesta and threw debris across the solar system. Some of it reaches Earth as meteorites. Mapped by Dawn in 2011.
Published by NASA in their 3D Resources collection, which they state is free of copyright. Printed to order — scaled to about 80 mm on its longest side, and resizeable on the next page.
